Running order (please note that these times may be subject to change): Arena opens: 6pm; Azekel: 7.20pm; Young Fathers: 8.20pm; Massive Attack: 9.30pm.

In a major coup for the Sessions, Massive Attack will be playing their only UK outdoor shows of 2018 at Eden next summer.

Hailing from Bristol with 3D and Daddy G as core members, Massive Attack have brought together singers and musicians from a broad array of genres to forge a unique sound and a catalogue of all-time classic tracks. Across their five highly acclaimed studio albums – Blue Lines, Protection, Mezzanine, 100th Window and Heligoland – this ground-breaking act has built a huge influence on the development of contemporary music.

Don’t miss the chance to see their spectacular live show, with our Biomes providing an awe-inspiring backdrop to their epic sound. These gigs promise to be some of the most memorable in Sessions history!

Young FathersYoung Fathers

Special guests on both nights will be the Mercury Prize-winning trio Young Fathers. They have released two studio albums, Dead in 2014 and 2015’s White Men are Black Men Too, and provided a track – Only God Knows – for this year’s Trainspotting film sequel. They also feature on Voodoo in My Blood, a track from Massive Attack’s 2016 EP Ritual Spirit. Their new album will be released in 2018.

AzekelAzekel

Azekel joins Young Fathers as another support act. His music transcends genres and will satisfy the ears of those who enjoy soul, jazz, R&B and electronic sounds. He recently released his long-awaited debut album ‘Our Father’.
