Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will headline an Eden Session on Wednesday 15 June 2022. This will be Noel’s second appearance at Eden, following a landmark show with Oasis in 2009. He was the main songwriter, lead guitarist and occasional lead vocalist for what became one of the biggest bands ever to emerge from the UK.

About the band

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds debuted in 2011 with an eponymous album that went double platinum in the UK and has sold more than 2.5 million copies worldwide. The second album ‘Chasing Yesterday’, which was produced as well as written by Noel, was released in 2015.

A third album ‘Who Built The Moon?’ was recorded with renowned producer and composer David Holmes. It was released in 2017 and debuted in the UK at number one, marking a record-breaking 10th consecutive chart-topping studio album in the UK for Noel – no other artist has achieved such a feat.

Release-wise, Noel continued to challenge industry norms, releasing a series of multi-genre EPs over the course of 2019 and 2020, all receiving high critical acclaim.

June 2021 saw the release of ‘Back The Way We Came: Vol 1 (2011-21)’ – a Best Of celebrating a decade of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. The tracklisting was curated by Noel and comprised a diverse body of work including tracks from the three studio albums, three EPs plus two brand new singles – ‘We’re On Our Way Now’ and ‘Flying On The Ground’. This was the band’s fourth consecutive number one album and the 12th number one album across Noel’s career.

Led by Janet Planet and Sugar Bones, this Australian band makes music that has been described as “dance pop that sounds like Donna Summer and Giorgio Moroder gleefully discovering house music via Dee-lite”. They’ve played at some of the biggest festivals in the world including Glastonbury, Rock en Seine (Paris), Primavera Sound (Barcelona), Governors Ball (New York) and Splendour in the Grass (Australia).

For the Eden Sessions in May/June/July 2022 no COVID status checks will be required for entry. This is in accordance with the current advice and guidance from UK and local Government, and will be continually reviewed. Should guidance change, we will contact ticket purchasers directly with an update. We recommend that everyone coming to an Eden Session takes a lateral flow test on the day of the concert.
